Griffith Retirement Estate residents hold an annual fund raiser event and during the past twenty years have raised over $63,000.
Amounts raised have been donated back to various local charities including, Country Hope, Can Assist and Griffith Breast Cancer Support Group to name just to name a few.
Across all Gannon estates, residents and homeowners do a great job in identifying ways to help their local communities with both assistance and fund raising.
Other fund-raising activities across the Estate’s include, Biggest Morning Tea events, fashion parades and soup and sandwich days. A group of Moonta Bay homeowners have been making Quilts over the last few years to distribute back into the community during the winter months.
